  • like the previous WS6 383ci and to host “American” heritage (anyone have a 69RS?) possessing short brute power.


    The body is a 1985 Camaro IROC z28 with a larger cowl hood and late 80s (88+) ground effects.
    One week one the following at to be changed:
    Door locks and handles
    Hood and hatch shocks
    Power windows
    Threw in a Sony deck and speakers

    The IROC package causes the Z28 to sit 1.5-2″ lower than other models. Suspension tidbits:
    “New” Macpherson shocks front and back
    New coil springs front and back
    Aftermarket “eBay” sway bars front and back
    Torque arm in rear and factory link suspension in rear
    U-Joints replaced

    The original engine was the 305ci LB9 (5.0L V8). Now a great grand daddy to all GM V8 engines has been installed. Drive-train tidbits :
    327ci with brand new bottom end
    Cylinders .020 over with new pistons rods, crank balanced with ARP mains
    ARP head studs
    COMP cam 270H
    COMP lifters and rods
    NGK V-Groove XR4 m270
    Elgin 1.5 Roller rockers
    ARP intake bolts
    Edelbrock intake
    Edelbrock Street Strip 1406 3176 Carb 600 CFM
    MSD Street Fire HEI distributor(w/ rev limiter)
    GM remaned HEI
    ARP flywheel bolts
    CenterForce Dual friction clutch new flywheel
    Radiator CU750 with flex-a-Lite 14″ electric fan
    GM Performance high torque mini starter
    Borg Warner World Class T5 (5 speed)
    Borg Warner 9 bolt POSI 3.70

    Vehicle had no exhaust; Chopped on the following:
    Hedman Shorty Headers HED-61608
    Flowmaster 40s
    Side pipes with Magnaflow tips
